Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Business Objects Admin with strong technical administration skills in Business Intelligence to join our team. Job seeker should have hands-on experience in managing the day-to-day operations of the Business Objects environment and possess deep knowledge of technical aspects related to administering and maintaining the BI infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and administer the Business Objects environment, including user access, security settings, and system configurations.
  • Manage and maintain the technical components of our Business Intelligence infrastructure hosting applications such as Business Objects, Alteryx, Power BI Gateways and Qlik.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system monitoring, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand issues reported while at the same time work on routine maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to end-users by resolving issues related to report scheduling, data connectivity, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of business intelligence and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working as a Business Objects Administrator or similar role.
  • Proficient in managing user access, security settings, and system configurations within the Business Objects environment.
  • Strong understanding of backend components such as Web Intelligence servers, Central Management Server (CMS), Universe Designer, Crystal Reportsetc.
  • Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques in a high-volume BI environment.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL queries for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Familiarity with other BI & Analytical tools like Power BI, Qlik, Alteryx is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
