The facility features a Level III trauma center with primary stroke center capabilities and comprehensive services. The emergency department treats an average of 135 patients daily and serves as the highest trauma area in the region, covering 9 counties with their own EMS agency and helicopter service. The facility maintains 24 / 7 physician coverage with midlevel support and offers specialized areas including vertical care (fast track) and separate triage with dedicated staff for patient registration and initial assessment.
