Join our team as a Picker and Packer where you will be responsible for scanning location and pallet license plates using scanner and voice equipment to pick products according to WMS. You will work in a dynamic environment, picking operations divided by zones, and handle palletizing and wrapping of picked items, as well as organizing and replenishing racks by moving pallets.

Responsibilities include : scanning location and pallet license plates using scanner and voice equipment; picking products according to WMS and associates' instructions; palletizing and wrapping picked items; organizing and replenishing racks by moving pallets; cleaning work areas before and after shifts; storing unloaded pallets to designated locations using a scanner connected to WMS; classifying and merging products, including frozen, refrigerated, and dry items; transferring same-day shipping pallets to the loading dock; unloading containers sequentially and cleaning surroundings after unloading; loading prepared pallets onto trucks; and operating equipment like High Row and Electric Jacks.

Essential skills include experience in picking, packing, and inventory management, proficiency with RF scanners, and the ability to work until tasks are complete.

Additional skills and qualifications include the capability to classify and handle frozen, refrigerated, and dry products; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus; and comfort working in varied temperature conditions with appropriate clothing.

Work environment : You will work in an automated warehouse. A freezer suit is provided for cold areas, and warm clothing is recommended. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are valued.

Job type and location : This is a contract to hire position based out of Belleville, NJ.

Pay and benefits : The pay range for this position is $15.49 - $15.49 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
