• Introductory Period : 90 daysReports To : School NurseSummary / Objective : The Classroom / Program-based LPN provides health services to strengthen and facilitate the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning in the individual students. Promote an optimal level of wellness of students and staff by providing preventative health services to facilitate the students and staffs optimal physical mental emotional and social growth and Functions / Duties : Provide medical interventions such as medication administration care to ill children and first aid to injured appropriate medical records with medical providers and families and to obtain and maintain student health required medical records and information to district with the Program Supervisor or classroom staff to develop classroom and student safety in the development of student health care with family members and providers regarding student medical resources for and deliver health education to students and confidentiality of student health related records and in team meetings as proper infection control procedures and equipment are in place.
