Job Description
We are seeking experienced, professional Class A drivers who want to grow with us at our new facility, equipped with all-new, modern equipment.
Jit-Ex services Tractor Supply Company stores within a 300-mile radius of Nashville. This is not route work or delivery-service driving—it's true regional trucking. Our operating area is compact enough that, under normal circumstances, drivers return to the terminal daily well within their 14-hour clock.
All freight is palletized and shrink-wrapped. Consignees unload at a dock or ramp, just like standard trucking—no inside deliveries and no driver assist required.
Our fleet consists of twin-axle International LT day cabs, all automatic and less than four years old. We run 53' dry van trailers, equipped with either air-slide or manual-slide tandems.
A typical day at Jit-Ex starts with arriving at the terminal, picking up your assigned tractor and an empty trailer, and hauling it to a location in north Nashville. There, you'll drop the empty, hook to a loaded trailer, and deliver it to a TSC store—possibly Murfreesboro, Lebanon, Memphis, or even north of Lexington, KY. Destinations vary based on daily freight availability.
Short runs (e.g., Murfreesboro or Lebanon) usually allow you to return to Nashville for a second run. Longer runs (e.g., Lexington or Birmingham) may involve picking up a live-load backhaul before returning to the terminal.
There are no set routes or repetitive daily patterns. It’s regional trucking with variety. After about three months, you’ll be familiar with 90% of our destinations, but the work will remain engaging—not monotonous.
All drivers start between 4 : 00 a.m. and 7 : 00 a.m. You may choose your start time, but it must remain consistent each day.
