Lead Carpenter Position

Kitchen Tune-Up Round Rock is seeking a Lead Carpenter with expert-level finish carpentry skills to take charge of high-quality kitchen and bathroom cabinetry projects. Our work includes cabinet refacing, custom cabinet installs, and custom vanities for bathroomsand we're looking for someone who takes pride in clean, efficient, precision-driven craftsmanship and is looking to learn new techniques and desires a stable, well-paying career. You'll be the lead on site, supported by an apprentice who handles prep, cleanup, and assistive tasks. Materials, logistics, and client communication are handled by our office so you can stay focused on delivering outstanding results.

What You'll Do

• Accompany owner / PM for accurately measuring job after sale and assess scope of work
• Lead cabinet refacing projects : apply wood veneer, install doors / drawer fronts, align soft-close hinges, and ensure a seamless finish.
• Install custom cabinets and vanities with precision and attention to detail.
• Direct an apprentice / helper on jobsite : delegate tasks and ensure work pace is maintained.
• Install accessories : rollout trays, panels, toe kicks, molding, hardware, etc.
• Review and follow job documentation (measurements, layouts, material lists).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite every day.
• Communicate effectively with project manager and clients as needed.
• Wear Kitchen Tune-Up branded T-shirt and adhere to our 5 Trustpoints on every job site.
