• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, and physicians, to create seamless care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to support their progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Assist with speech therapy evaluations and interventions for inpatients, ensuring a smooth continuum of care throughout their treatment journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to all relevant guidelines, both state and federal.
• Stay updated with advancements in the discipline by engaging in ongoing education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those yet to be ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of employment.
