DMPS is looking for a 6th GradeMath andScience teacher for the 25-26 school year. Location is still being determined.

Any teacher with a K-6 teaching endorsement is elligible to teach in this position!

Required :

• Valid Iowa teaching license (appropriate endorsement code for teaching assignment).
• Knowledge of subject curriculum effective teaching methods.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in oral and written communications.
• Competency working in a culturally diverse environment or the willingness to acquire these skills.

Responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality educational program to meet childrens academic and social-emotional needs.

FLSA STATUS : Exempt

FT / PT : Full Time (7.75 hour day) (Contract days vary by assignment)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Standing walking sitting bending / stooping reaching / pushing / pulling lifting carrying

WORKING CONDITIONS : Mostly indoors with some outdoor responsibilities during recess and arrival / dismissal
