Fleet Mechanic – Lawrence Landscape Group (Charlotte, NC)

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Fleet Mechanic to keep our trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment operating safely and efficiently. What You’ll Do

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles, trailers, and landscaping equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.).

Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for use.

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Maintain detailed records of services, parts, and repair schedules.

Manage the organization and cleanliness of the shop and yard.

Oversee fueling operations and maintain accurate logs.

Collaborate with managers and crews to ensure all equipment is job-ready daily.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience as a Fleet, Diesel, or Equipment Mechanic (landscaping, construction, or transportation industry preferred).

Strong understanding of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and small engine repair.

Hands-on problem solver with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.

Valid driver’s license required ; CDL preferred but not mandatory.
