Pyramid Healthcare of Asheville is seeking a Full Time LPN to join their Methadone Clinic team!

Schedule : 5am - 1pm Monday - Friday and Every other Saturday

The primary function of this position involves providing direct nursing services to clients undergoing treatment for adult substance use disorders and / or mental health issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Conduct initial Nursing Assessments for new admissions, as applicable. Administer medications. Demonstrate knowledge and implementation of detox protocols. Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients in accordance with established protocols. Provide medication education to clients. Coordinate and support medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments. Ensure medical equipment is maintained in proper working order while upholding confidentiality and professional boundaries. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Licensure, Education, & Experience (All States) : Current unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice is required. Current CPR / BLS, AED, and First Aid certifications are required. One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting is preferred. A background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders is preferred.
