Location : Fresno, CA

FLSA Classification : Non-Exempt / Hourly

Hourly Compensation Range : $21.00 – $28.00

(Compensation is based on years of relevant experience and skillset level.)

Purpose

The Pump Assembler at Trillium Flow Technologies performs mechanical assembly operations to build submersible and surface drive pumps. Working under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for interpreting technical documentation, assembling components, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions to plan and execute assembly operations.
• Perform mechanical assembly of various pump components including suction cases, couplings, bowls, impellers, mechanical seals, seal pots, thrust pots, piping, motors, and discharge heads.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as overhead cranes, pneumatic wrenches, hydraulic presses, electric drills, chain tongs, and hand tools.
• Verify parts against documentation for accuracy in number, size, type, and material.
• Align and fit components to ensure proper assembly and function.
• Detect and report faulty operations, defective materials, or discrepancies in documentation to the Assembly Supervisor.
• Occasionally retrieve parts from storage areas using a lift truck.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
• Observe all safety and ISO 9001 / 14001 Requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
