Primary Purpose :
To oversee and manage an institution's learning management system (LMS) Canvas, while providing expertise, support, and training necessary for all the success of all end-users.
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned, preferred
Master’s degree, with emphasis in instructional technology, preferred
Minimum of two years teaching experience, preferred
School district experience preferred
Special Knowledge / Skills :
Experience designing and developing courses using an LMS and related tools
Knowledge and demonstrable, practical application of instructional design methodologies and best practices
Demonstrable technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with regard to the LMS
Effective adult training skills
Advanced knowledge of curriculum development
Sound organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to learn new concepts in a short amount of time
Exhibits leadership skills
