Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Testing Analyst IV supports the application development organization by independently conducting highly complex software testing activities with significant impact aimed at improving the functionality of application systems across the organization. This position may serve as a lead for a small team, contributing to technical skill and knowledge development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test case scenarios for new and existing products.
• Independently perform manual testing of applications and translate results into actionable insights in collaboration with management.
• Analyze test data to identify pain points and recommend improvements or modifications to better meet customer needs.
• Maintain documentation for testing activities and cases, ensuring team compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to identify process improvement strategies and develop effective testing solutions.
• Create and maintain quality metrics to monitor performance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with peers to establish parameters and comparison data for improved accuracy.
• Independently perform post-production validation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with coordinating non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Stay updated on trends in testing tools and strategies to enhance testing processes.
• Lead complex testing projects as a subject matter expert.
• Utilize experience and judgment to perform job duties without supervision or direction.
• Collaborate with management to identify technical knowledge gaps and develop training plans.
• Provide guidance to junior analysts, assisting in the development of business / technical knowledge, analytical skills, and case management skills.
