As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Flex  in Saint Louis, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will help support a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activities or potential security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Assist with controlling access points and verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
  • Support security-related operations by monitoring for hazards or security-related breaches during patrols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
