Job Details Responsibilities : Interface with customers to understand technical needs, performance requirements, and end-use conditions, providing expert advice and guidance. Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications, drawings, and material / process recommendations, ensuring the development of products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Support the direct line manager in technical discussions, design reviews, and coordinated customer communication, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team. Assist with material selection, layup design, tolerance analysis, and process feasibility studies to ensure optimal product performance and manufacturability. Develop composite component concepts using CAD and finite element analysis (FEA) tools, supporting Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities. Contribute to Stage-Gate deliverables, ensuring engineering tasks are completed on schedule and meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Understanding of composite materials, design for manufacturability, and new product introduction. Proficiency in using CAD and finite element analysis (FEA) tools. Ability to contribute to to Stage-Gate deliverables and managing engineering tasks on schedule. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers and translate their requirements into actionable engineering specifications. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
