[job_card.job_description]Review Loan Applications : Analyze loan applications for completeness and adherence to legal and regulatory standards. Verify Borrower Information : Gather, confirm, and update financial and personal details necessary for loan approval, including income, credit history, employment verification, and property specifics. Document Preparation : Organize and prepare essential loan documents, such as application forms, credit reports, and legal disclosures. Coordinate with LPA and Investors : Liaise with LPA to request any needed information or clarifications while keeping them updated on the status of their applications. Monitor Loan Progress : Oversee loan applications through each stage of the approval process, ensuring timely submission of documentation and addressing any pending items. Compliance : Ensure all loan files meet legal and regulatory standards, including federal and state laws, as well as company policies. Assist Underwriters : Support underwriters in assessing loan applications and financial data as needed. Maintain Records : Keep accurate records of loan applications, approvals, denials, and related documentation in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. Problem Resolution : Proactively address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to loan applications, documentation, or processing delays. Customer Service : Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and providing assistance throughout the loan process.
The Mortgage Loan Processor plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless processing and verification of loan applications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organization skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to ensure timely approvals and funding of loans.
- NonQM experience is required
