LHH is working with a great firm in Las Vegas to hire a skilled Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team. This is a full-time opportunity offering growth, stability, and the chance to work on high-volume, complex cases.
Key Responsibilities - Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals throughout all stages of litigation.
- Manage attorney calendars, dockets, and appointments.
- Prepare and file documents electronically in state and federal courts.
- Screen and respond to client calls and correspondence.
- Draft and prepare emails, confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
- Maintain client files electronically and physically.
- Assist with attorney time entry and billing.
- Support trial preparation and settlement packages.
- Handle medical records requests and prepare summaries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements - Minimum 3 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred; plaintiff experience considered).
- Familiarity with premises liability and auto negligence cases.
- Strong experience with medical records and summarization.
- Ability to handle high-volume work and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of state and federal court e-filing procedures.
- Professionalism and ability to work collaboratively with busy partners.
