Kenner, LA : Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Framing Carpenter / Rough Carpenter.
Essential Duties :
- Construct and install framing for walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, drawings, and building plans
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal studs, and other construction materials
- Install structural components such as joists, rafters, trusses, and sheathing
- Build temporary structures including scaffolding and bracing
- Secure materials using nails, screws, bolts, and framing hardware
- Inspect framing for accuracy, alignment, and structural integrity
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures and maintain clean work areas
- Use hand tools and power tools such as nail guns, saws, drills, and levels
