Get to Know Your Team : UT Health East Texas EMS / AIR 1 has more than 50 ambulances, three active helicopters and one helicopter in reserve strategically located across the region and emergency teams provide rapid access to care. Responsibilities Receives requests for ambulance service within established time requirements. Working knowledge of all communications / computer equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with citizens, medical professionals, public officials and political leaders. Processes calls for service per medical protocols within established Q.I. standards. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Job Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent Type 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy Preferred Job Requirements : Knowledge of MPDS EMD protocols Skills to apply EMD protocols over the telephone
