A growing, modern dental practice in the Lansing area is seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to lead the daily operations of the practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys building systems, developing team members, and creating an exceptional patient experience.

The practice offers comprehensive dental care including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants, oral surgery, and preventive care, supported by modern technology and a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Practice Operations:
  • Oversee daily front office operations and patient flow.
  • Optimize scheduling for productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as collections, case acceptance, and hygiene re-care.
  • Oversee insurance verification, billing processes, and accounts receivable.

Team Leadership:
  • Hire, train, and coach team members.
  • Conduct team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with office systems and protocols.

Patient Experience:
  • Ensure every patient receives exceptional service.
  • Address patient concerns professionally.
  • Support treatment presentations and financial discussions.

Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor collections, insurance aging, and outstanding balances.
  • Support treatment plan acceptance and financial arrangements.
  • Work closely with the doctor to track production and profitability.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of dental office management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing.
  • Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar software.
  • Proven leadership experience managing dental teams.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in treatment coordination or financial presentations preferred.
  • Understanding of practice KPIs and scheduling optimization.
