SUMMARY

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, building, and delivering custom solutions on the Salesforce platform that align with business needs. This role combines strong technical development expertise with excellent communication and collaboration skills. The Developer works closely with Solution Architects, Admins, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate options, and design scalable solutions. This is not a back?room role; the Salesforce Developer actively participates in solution discussions, presents alternatives, and helps shape solutions that deliver measurable business value. Travel is required up to 20% of the time. Hybrid work schedule in Alliant Offices Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; Tampa, FL; Naples, FL; or Atlanta, GA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Solution Architects, Admins, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Participate in solution design sessions, providing input on customization versus declarative options.
• Communicate technical options, trade?offs, and recommendations in business?friendly terms.
• Shape solutions to ensure they align with business goals and platform best practices.
• Develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and APIs.
• Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Write high?quality, reusable, and scalable code following Salesforce development standards.
• Perform unit testing and participate in system / integration testing.
• Support deployment activities across development, QA, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Salesforce customizations.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements to leverage new capabilities.
• Contribute to coding standards, development guidelines, and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the broader team.
