Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is competitive within the pay range and considers qualifications, skills, and experience.

Schedule Details :

$10,000 SIGN-ON Bonus for eligible candidates with distance-based relocation available

$2,000 SIGN-ON Bonus for PM Shifts at ASLMC

Join our exceptional OR team at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center—Wisconsin's largest hospital with 24 / 7 on-site heart-care. We are recognized for our innovative and compassionate care.

Major Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean and safe environment that ensures optimal patient care, utilizing aseptic surgical techniques for preparation.

Assist with a variety of surgical procedures while anticipating the needs of the surgeons.

Set up and disinfect the operating room for each case, handling equipment and supplies efficiently.

Function as a Second Assistant and notify relevant staff about any equipment or supply issues.

Transport patients and equipment as required.

Manage and maintain specialty carts ensuring sterility and availability of instruments.

Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific patient care and ensure proper care based on developmental needs.

Qualifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months unless exempted.

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

No prior experience is necessary, we welcome recent graduates!

Skills and Abilities :

Understanding of aseptic surgical techniques and operating room equipment.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Requirements :

Able to handle a fast-paced environment with lifting and transport duties.

Must be able to lift and carry specified weights safely.

Ability to respond quickly to on-call situations, arriving within 30 minutes.
