About the Role :

Join our vibrant kitchen team at Trattoria Delia, where passion for Italian cuisine meets a commitment to quality. As a Line Cook, you'll play a crucial role in crafting memorable dishes that delight our guests in the heart of Burlington, VT.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to Trattoria Delia's recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed consistently.
  • Assist in menu planning and daily specials, contributing creative ideas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Participate in training and mentoring of new kitchen staff.
  • Adapt to changing menu items and seasonal ingredients with flexibility.

    • Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for food presentation.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
