What you'll do :

As a member of the EYEcenter Optometric team, you'll work in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art medical clinic. You'll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, visual and medical conditions, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products.

You'll benefit from access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, allowing you to deliver the highest standard of patient care. The schedule typically includes up to twenty-two appointments per day, with the expectation of performing two comprehensive exams each hour. Flexibility is also encouraged to accommodate extended appointments when patient needs require it, ensuring each individual receives attentive and personalized service. All locations are entirely cloud-based, supporting a paperless environment that enables electronic medical records and charting from anywhere—plus, a highly-trained staff to support you throughout examinations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with vision therapy and ocular diseases, and treatments. This position is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities :

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his / her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
