A Prep Cook is expected to prepare food, help kitchen workers in the preparation of food items and set up allocated stations for menu, as instructed by Chef or Directors team.. The prep cook is expected to maintain their station as if it belonged to them and to always serve food that is compliant with restaurant standards. This position reports directly to the Production Chef. You will represent the core values of the Chef and the restaurant at all times as a representative of this business. You will exhibit pride in your work, strive for open and effective communication, continually evaluate yourself as well as your team, and focus on personal and professional growth.

Use your skills, experience & talents to be part of something EXCITING!  As a production cook you will perform the following essential functions…

• Master prep and bulk recipes using proper measurements
• Master recipe application in restaurant functions
• Maintains prep list and assures pars are properly adhered to
• Post checklists daily to communication channels for manager review
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness through daily checklists and assigned tasks
• Communicates with commissary driver to assure orders are properly fulfilled
• Able to problem solve issues that arise pertaining to orders, pars, and repairs
• Cover, date and correctly store all food prep items
• Notify kitchen management team in advance of likely shortages
• Serve recipe items compliant with established standards
• Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
• Uses proper Sanitation at all times
• Arrives on time “5 min prior to shift” in proper uniform and ready for work.
• Always have respect and maintain kitchen equipment
• Always maintain a courteous and professional relationship with ALL teammates
• Able to multitask
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Driver's license and clean driving record a PLUS
• Wages DOE
