Electrical Designer

Salary: $29 - $43 DOE

We are a well-established electrical contractor with over 35 years in business, specializing in residential, commercial, and low voltage electrical systems. We are seeking an Electrical Designer to support a wide range of projects from concept through construction. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects in a stable, long-standing company that values quality, collaboration, and practical design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Clean up CAD drawings to meet company standards and create electrical and lighting designs based on project specifications.
• Develop lighting layouts and perform lighting calculations, including photometric analysis.
• Create one-line riser diagrams and design circuiting for light fixtures and electrical devices in CAD.
• Perform voltage drop and load calculations to ensure compliance and safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of residential and/or commercial electrical drafting experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, devices, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
