We are looking for an experienced Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to oversee and enhance global financial reporting processes for a dynamic organization based in Lowell, Massachusetts. This leadership role requires strong expertise in technical accounting, regulatory compliance, and managing complex financial structures across multiple international entities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring accurate reporting, fostering collaboration across departments, and maintaining high standards of internal controls.

Responsibilities :

• Direct the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial filings, including 10-Q and 10-K reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with senior executives to develop management reports and materials for the Audit Committee.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, coordinating annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Oversee compliance with financial regulations while continuously improving internal control processes.
• Provide guidance on internal controls related to new system implementations and organizational changes.
• Draft detailed technical accounting memos to document and support significant conclusions.
• Advise cross-functional teams, including accounting, finance, legal, and tax departments, on complex and non-routine transactions.
• Lead purchase accounting efforts for acquisitions, working closely with valuation experts to ensure accuracy.
• Research and analyze emerging accounting standards, implementing timely and effective adoption strategies.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Expertise in month-end close processes and familiarity with BlackLine software.
• Demonstrated success in managing financial statement audits and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to work across multiple international entities and manage complex financial structures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly in preparing technical accounting documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
