Two years of experience in the Emergency Department preferred (willing to train the right person)
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to bend, crouch, or kneel
Ability to use hands, keyboard, and fine motor skills
Ability to lift up to twenty pounds
Occasionally moving objects up to 100 pounds
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care
Flexibility and composure under pressure
Ability to balance compassion with self-care
Skills to de-escalate difficult situations with verbal or nonverbal methods

Description :
The Emergency Department is looking for a skilled, hardworking, and dedicated RN to join the team.
The department is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and highly skilled emergency care nursing staff.
We provide emergency care for patients of all ages, addressing a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries.
As a registered nurse, you will assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care within your scope of practice.
You will use your knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care.
You will assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
Quality of care must be provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with policies and procedures.
You will demonstrate performance consistent with the mission and goals of the assigned unit and organization.
The role includes resolving patient care and departmental situations within your scope of responsibility and referring problems beyond that scope to appropriate individuals.
Assisting with data collection for research studies conducted in the work area may also be required.
