The Oil & Gas Burner Technician is primarily responsible for the following functions :
- Installs oil burners and tanks for new and existing customers.
- Performs service calls and preventative maintenance on existing systems.
- Performs annual cleanings on systems.
- Primes systems following a "no heat" call.
- Responds to emergency calls as needed.
- Completes system inspections and repairs.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to Apprentices and Helpers.
- Performs other similar duties as required.

Frequently required to stand, walk, and operate tools and heavy equipment.
Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch.
Frequently lifts to 85 pounds independently, and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Must be able to accurately see colors and smell.
