[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and / or high-traffic areas to assist with the flow of people and help to deter unauthorized access or activity. Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual behavior, to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts. Collaborate with location management and local authorities as needed to address incidents and support security-related operations. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
