We are seeking a dedicated Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. You will play a vital role in addressing and resolving pipeline issues, supporting global development teams, and enhancing the reliability of our hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Be present in the lab every working day to swiftly address pipeline issues for global development teams.
• Assess and integrate new boards as they arrive.
• Assemble Raspberry Pis and build servers.
• Provision servers using automation infrastructure, such as Ansible.
• Conduct maintenance on hardware modifications, including soldering, new pin connections, and adding new test setups.
• Improve pipeline hardware reliability by recording issues and investigating root causes.
• Manage inventory, including updating boards to newer versions and purchasing and organizing new items.
• Support the constant expansion of the pipeline.

Work Environment

The role requires a 50 / 50 split between lab work and other duties. The work environment includes working with advanced technologies and equipment, ensuring a dynamic and engaging setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Durham, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00 / hr.
