About The Position

Job Title : MRI Tech Profession : Radiology Specialty : MRI Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Mid Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : 2 years total, 1 year in specialty License : MO or Compact license required Certifications : ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have : Level I trauma experience Previous travel experience preferred Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner experience Adult ICU, pediatric, and adult acute care experience BLS and ARRT or ARMRIT certification Description : Candidates must have experience in Level I trauma. Previous travel experience will be accepted for first-time travelers with 2 years of Level I trauma experience. Experience with Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner is required. Adult ICU, pediatric, and adult acute care experience is necessary. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience. BLS and ARRT or ARMRIT certifications are mandatory. Skills required include proficiency in abdomen, adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, brain, breast, cervical, chest, and various imaging techniques. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Candidates will encounter patients of all ages, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The average daily census is 24 / 7, with approximately 1 patient per hour and 20 visits per day. The unit has 3 rooms for MRI services. Floating may be required, including roles as patient observers. Candidates must work 50% of holidays during the contract.
