Senior Mechanical Engineer – Direct Hire

Location : Oshkosh, WI

Salary : $72,200 – $94,200 annually + 5% bonus (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design functional, reliable, and cost-effective components for heavy-duty vehicles. This role involves engineering analysis, design or redesign, and integration of components into existing and new vehicles. You will collaborate across teams to ensure successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and design tasks according to industry standards.
• Support senior engineers with plans, designs, and reporting.
• Manage projects or portions of projects with limited complexity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Provide guidance to entry-level engineers and technicians.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
• Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
• Conduct engineering analysis for component selection and material requirements.
• Provide technical assistance for production support and resolve engineering issues.
• Prepare technical proposals, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain project documentation and utilize analytical methods to optimize designs.
