Childcare Assistant Teacher

Lakeside Girls Academy Childcare Program is seeking a dedicated and responsible Childcare Assistant Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers in the daycare setting
• Support the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and daily routines
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students regarding transportation schedules and any concerns
• Adhere to all licensing, safety, and health regulations related to childcare
• Transportation of children in company van when needed

Requirements :

Experience / Requirements : Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred, one-year related experience, minimum high school diploma or GED, great work ethic and are dependable, kind, caring, nurturing, cheerful and have a natural love for children. Current PA Criminal, FBI and Childline clearances are required (at Lakeside’s expense) as well as a signed Physician’s Affidavit. Must have a valid PA Driver’s License and good driving record.
