Strong understanding of building codes, structural analysis, and engineering principles. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members seamlessly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Join Our Team as a Truss Designer
JCT Recruiting LLC has a client seeking a talented and detail-oriented Truss Designer to join our engineering team as a vital part. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and engineering roof and floor trusses for various construction projects. Your creativity and technical expertise will help ensure the structural integrity and efficiency of our designs while meeting client specifications and industry standards.
As a Truss Designer, you will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering team members to deliver accurate and innovative designs that support the overall success of our construction projects. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed truss designs and calculations based on project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize structural design software to create accurate models and simulations.
- Conduct thorough analysis to ensure designs comply with safety and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot design challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare production drawings and documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address design inquiries and modifications.
