Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Will participate in warehouse operations and activities. Duties include receiving and shipping product, pick, pack and scan orders, prepare inventory documentation,

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Accurate and precise work, especially when dealing with inventory and order fulfillment
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Efficiently prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Identifying and resolving issues independently or with a team
• Communicate and cooperate with managers and coworkers
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, safety rules and regulations
• Forklift operating a forklift to transport, load, and unload materials in a warehouse, requiring attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols. Forklift certification will be provided once the 90 days of initial employment has passed.
• 10 Hour OSHA Safety training course will be provided once the 90 days of initial employment has passed

Requirements

• Efficiently prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Be able to work in warm or cool environments
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend and lift heavy objects 50lbs or more
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting can be beneficial.

Minium Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Basic computer skills (MS word, excel, Outlook, Inventory management systems)
