Machine Operator – 1st & 2nd Shift | $17–$19 / hr | Denton, TX

Location : Denton, TX

Pay : $17.00–$19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Shifts Available :

1st Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM

2nd Shift : 3 : 30 PM – 12 : 00 Midnight

Openwork is hiring Machine Operators to join a well-established industrial manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This facility specializes in producing wood reels and packaging materials used in cable and wire transportation. Key Responsibilities :

Operate and monitor wood-processing and reel assembly machinery

Set up machines according to product specifications

Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards

Conduct basic machine maintenance and report issues to the maintenance team

Work with wood materials, including cutting, assembling, and inspecting components

Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized

Follow all company safety and production protocols

Requirements :

Must pass a background check

E-Verify employer (must be authorized to work in the U.S.)

Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is a plus

Must have or be willing to purchase steel toe boots

Comfortable working around machinery and in a physical, hands-on role

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
