Job Description : This remote position works with the Data Exchange group within the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR) team. The role focuses on onboarding immunization providers to WIR, guiding interface setup and deployment, and resolving post-deployment data quality issues. Candidates must be Wisconsin residents or be willing to relocate to WI at their own expense before starting.

40% A. Data Exchange Onboarding

  • Provide technical and program support to WIR partners onboarding to unidirectional and bi-directional web-based immunization information exchange.
  • Coordinate with testing staff to facilitate testing of messaging format, content, and transport functionality.
  • Collaborate with WIR vendors regarding security certificate management, web-services functionality, and documentation.
  • Coordinate transition to production data submission after testing completion.
  • Assess data quality and resolve issues identified in post?production submissions.

40% B. Data Exchange Process Management

  • Provide regular data exchange status reports as directed by the WIR Unit Supervisor.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and data exchange specifications.
  • Maintain the data exchange queue and increase queue visibility for providers and state staff.
  • Facilitate large batch file submission (review, system monitoring, etc.).

    • 10% C. Assessment and Reporting

  • Assist in reviewing Aggregate Analysis Reporting Tool (AART) assessment reports and provide updates to the WIR team.
  • Provide regular updates on data quality efforts to the WIR Data Staff for inclusion in data quality reporting.

    • 10% D. WIR Unit Support

  • Participate in WIR Unit meetings and project activities.
  • Provide support to other WIR unit areas as directed by the WIR Unit Supervisor.
