Job Title: Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing Specialist I)
Location: Liberty, MO
Schedule: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Work Environment: Workshop
Contract Length: 12 months

Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all fabricated and machined components meet engineering drawings, work orders, and customer specifications. The role supports incoming, in-process, and final inspections and maintains quality records in compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform receiving inspection of all purchased parts.
  • Conduct first-article and in-process inspections for CNC-produced components.
  • Complete final inspection prior to packaging and shipment.
  • Document non-conforming parts, route them appropriately, and maintain records.
  • Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
  • Track, log, and enter inspection data into ERP systems.
  • Develop and update non-conformance trend charts.
  • Perform additional QC tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years QC-related experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Intermediate math and reading skills.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and basic QC tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk regularly, and wear PPE.
  • Vision: 20/30 acuity and ability to read Jaeger No. 2 at 16".
