Position Description
Carlsmed is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, and reliability of its cloud-based technology platform. This role is designed for an early-career engineer who will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of AWS infrastructure, CI / CD pipelines, and automation tooling while developing strong foundations in cloud operations and DevOps best practices. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with software engineers and senior DevOps leaders in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
upport the provisioning and management of AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting CI / CD pipelines to ensure reliable builds, testing, and deployments
- Support secure secrets management and access controls, including tools such as HashiCorp Vault
- Partner with software engineers to enable efficient, reliable, and repeatable deployment workflows
- Monitor system health, identify issues, and escalate or remediate as appropriate
- Contribute to system documentation, runbooks, and infrastructure change records
- Participate in operational support and continuous improvement of DevOps practices under the guidance of senior engineers

Compensation
We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits. Our benefits reflect our investment in the overall health and well-being of our employees and their families. including paying 100% of monthly healthcare, dental and vision insurance premiums, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and unlimited PTO. The expected pay range is $95,000 to $110,000. Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.
