Job Title : Software Engineer 3 (Salesforce Developer)

Location : Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days Remote | Onsite Thursday & Friday)

Duration : 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer 3 with strong Salesforce development expertise to join an Agile (Scrum) team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions while ensuring secure, high-performance architecture on the Force.com platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning components, integrations, and end-to-end Salesforce implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Salesforce-based applications and enhancements.

Write and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Aura components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Implement declarative (no-code / low-code) solutions including Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver features according to the team’s Definition of Done.

Conduct system analysis, investigate problem areas, and provide root cause resolution.

Support multiple environments through coding, testing, peer reviews, and documentation.

Perform secure architecture assessments and recommend high-performance technical solutions.

Handle system integrations, upgrades (Classic to Lightning), and data migrations.

Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations with third-party systems.

Provide on-call production support as required.

Maintain adherence to SDLC standards, coding best practices, version control, and change management processes.

Required Qualifications (Minimum 8 Years Experience)

Strong Salesforce development experience including :

Apex programming

Apex triggers

Visualforce pages

Aura Components

Lightning Web Components (LWC)

Experience implementing declarative solutions (Flows, Process Builders, Workflow Rules).

Full SDLC experience including coding standards, version control, and change management.

Experience designing secure and scalable architecture on the Force.com platform.

End-to-end Salesforce implementation experience including :

Classic to Lightning upgrades

Data migrations

System integrations

Third-party application integrations

Custom development

Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth) and third-party integrations.

Proficiency in core web technologies :

HTML5

JavaScript

jQuery

REST & SOAP Web Services

JSON & XML

Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-prem applications using standard and custom REST APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of DevOps experience (CI / CD pipelines, Flosum, Git).

Experience building custom Reports and Dashboards in Salesforce.

Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments.
