Royal Caribbean Group's Information Technology Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Engineering reporting to the Director, Shipboard Engineering .

This role is located in Miramar, FL.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Product Engineering will lead and manage multiple software engineering teams within our Shipboard Engineering division. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. You will be a key leader in the engineering organization, responsible for building and developing high-performing teams, and collaborating closely with product management and other external teams to align technical strategy with business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor multiple software engineering teams to foster a culture of excellence and high performance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the development of robust, scalable, and reliable shipboard software solutions.
• Collaborate with product management to understand product vision and translate it into a technical roadmap and execution plan.
• Work with external teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment of engineering efforts.
• Establish and enforce best practices for the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure the stability, performance, and quality of all shipboard engineering products and services.
• Manage and allocate engineering resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and methodologies.
• The role is responsible for managing and overseeing an IT, labor, and non-labor budgets of $2M to $4M dollars.
