Security Officer - Armed Campus Patrol Driver

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol educational locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for students, staff, and visitors. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service reflect our values of teamwork, reliability, and putting people first, making a positive impact every day.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $37.08 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Fri 01 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM
  • Sat 01 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Collaborate with campus staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Remain visible and approachable to students, faculty, and visitors, offering assistance and guidance as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
