LPN / LVN

NEEDED : Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse

LOCATION : 2425 South 200th Street, SeaTac, WA 98198

SCHEDULE : 960 hours every 120 days (on-going), 8 hours per day, 5 days per week

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have successfully graduated from a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and / or accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Exceptions include Health care education in the military service or training in the military service which is accepted by the licensing body in the jurisdiction in which the individual is licensed as qualifying for full LPN / LVN licensure will be accepted as meeting the education requirements for VHA employment, OR Individuals granted an acceptable license by a jurisdiction that does not require graduation from an approved school.
• Must also hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license to practice as practical or vocational nurse in a State or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• Must have a current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
• Must have 6 months of applicable experience.
• Provide two (2) letters of reference.
• Possess knowledge of safety principles and infection control in the patient care environment.
