As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Hauppauge, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence helps to promote a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Wed 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Thur 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

Fri 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking action as required by site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
  • Document observations and / or incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate and / or coordinate with site staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed during routine operations and critical situations.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and support a secure environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
