Payroll Specialist / HR Coordinator

A mid-sized manufacturing firm in South Seattle is seeking a Payroll Specialist / HR Coordinator for a 6-month temporary-to-hire position. This role involves supporting human resource programs and handling payroll processing for approximately 100 employees. The position requires a background check.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in administering and executing human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
• Ensure accurate processing and record-keeping for health and welfare plans and payroll.
• Coordinate, plan, and implement company events.
• Support accounting books and records.
• Assist with weekly payroll processing for 100 employees.
• Provide coordination and support for ad hoc projects as assigned.

This role is based in a manufacturing and machine shop setting. The work environment is collaborative and team-oriented, requiring adherence to safety and compliance standards. Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
