About the Role
We’re looking for a Principal-level Platform Engineer to architect the next generation of our AI-powered learning ecosystem , including our Partner API platform, Connector services, and LearnOS plugin framework .
You'll lead core technical strategy for how external developers, enterprise partners, and AI agents (MCP + agentic frameworks) interact with the platform.
This is a high-impact, foundational role at the intersection of APIs, integrations, agent interoperability, and large-scale distributed systems .
Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve a secure, scalable external API gateway
- Build SDKs, tooling, and multi-tenant developer surfaces
- Define long-term platform extensibility strategy
- Design sandboxed plugin runtimes for real-time learning triggers
- Architect participation in MCP and emerging agent ecosystems
- Build APIs enabling agents to create study sets, track progress, trigger learning workflows, and operate autonomously
