Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO)

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is on a mission to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability, and integrity of the District Government. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Oracle ERP Cloud Specialist to join our team.

This position is vital to our ongoing efforts and will be based in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). As an IT Specialist focusing on Cloud products, you will collaborate closely with our stakeholders to design, document, develop, modify, test, install, implement, and support applications software.

Duties include, but are not limited to :

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating these into functional applications.
• Configuring, testing, and implementing modifications to Oracle ERP or EPM Cloud Modules, including Accounts Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Purchasing, Projects, Grants, Cash Management, and Budget.
• Troubleshooting issues and collaborating with vendors to enhance product functionality.
• Working alongside security staff to document and implement processes ensuring compliance with security controls set forth by the District, OCIO, and IRS.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Five (5) years of progressive experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and providing technical solutions. Experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting financial systems or Oracle Financials modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Receivables, Purchasing, General Ledger, Projects, Grants, Budget) along with knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential. Familiarity with Oracle ERP / EPM Cloud and experience in the public sector, particularly in state and local government, is preferred.
