Title : Production Control Team Member

Reports to : Group Lead / Assistant Manager

Department : Production Control

Summary :

Overview The Logistics Team Member operates in a dynamic environment, engaging in repetitive bench or line assembly tasks to construct automotive seat units or sub-assemblies with intricate parts and specific tolerances controlled by jigs and fixtures.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Assisting in shipping and receiving functions.
• Coordinating the flow of work and materials.
• Supporting shipment schedules.
• Collaborating with department supervisors to assess work progress and completion timelines.
• Compiling reports on work progress and inventory levels.
• Verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing them with records.
• Generating documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders for material routing.
• Monitoring production flow and handling materials as required.
• Packaging finished products for shipment.
• Rotating through various tasks in a specific production process.
• Ensuring adherence to 5-S standards.
• Tracking parts and scrap using electronic systems.
• Following processes and procedures associated with Logistics / Shipping & Receiving.
• Writing production reports when necessary.
• Performing various operations within the group to maintain workflow.
• Conducting monthly inventory counts.
• Assisting in managing the consumption / assessment of differences in actual stock quantities vs. inventory system.
• Maintaining customer and internal packaging instructions.
• Adhering to Quality policy, ISO / TS16949, EHS policy, and company SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Adhering to the anti-mutilation policy.
• Performing other assigned duties.
