Real Estate Paralegal

Location : Brooklyn, NY

Compensation : $75,000$90,000

We are a dynamic, fast-growing legal practice seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Brooklyn. This role supports a busy group handling residential and commercial real estate matters, in addition to providing support on select family / matrimonial cases. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate (Residential & Commercial)

Assist attorneys with transactions from contract to closing.
Draft and review key real estate documents : contracts of sale, deeds, transfer documents, closing statements, and title / survey reviews.
Coordinate closings with lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.
Manage due diligence and monitor all transaction timelines.
Order and review title reports; coordinate clearance of title issues.
Prepare closing binders and manage all post-closing documentation.
Maintain internal case files and organized document management systems.

General Legal Support

Perform e-filings and prepare court submissions (state and federal).

Support family / matrimonial matters, including drafting, discovery, and calendaring deadlines.

Communicate directly with clients, lenders, and third parties in a polished, professional manner.

Maintain attorney calendars, coordinate meetings, and track critical dates.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal or Legal Administrative Assistant.

Experience in matrimonial / family law is a strong plus.

Solid understanding of New York real estate practice and court procedures.

Strong drafting, organization, and document-management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw).

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required.
